Startups that are accepted into one of Startup Chile’s programs receive visas for their founders, staff, and family members, as well as equity-free funding and business support.

Requirements
Startup must be accepted by the Startup Chile program. To be accepted, the startup should add value to Chile and fit the local startup ecosystem.
Startup must be tech based, innovative, scalable, and make economic impact.
Visa renewal and access to 2nd round funding depends on performance and fit.
Startup Chile has three programs:
- Build—Pre-acceleration program for early-stage startups with 50%+ female founders
- Ignite—Acceleration program for startups with a functional product and early-stage evaluation)
- Growth—Scale program for existing tech and innovative startups
Fees
- This visa costs $50+, but costs for founders are reimbursed by Startup Chile.
Application Process
Apply through Startup Chile.
If you are accepted, Startup Chile will give you an invitation letter and visa code.
Use these to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa from the Chilean embassy or consulate in your home country, or online. Founders named on the application and immediate family members can also apply for a visa.
Upon receiving your visa, you can travel to Chile and enroll in your program.
