Application Process
Apply online through the ARI Portal.
The portal gives you a streamlined way to upload all documents, register your legal representation, pay fees, and request family reunification.
You will also schedule your in-person appointment with the Immigration and Borders Service (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras, or SEF) through the portal. The procedure is simplified for investors and only requires one visit to the SEF to deliver your documents and provide biometrics.

- Proof of funds to make the investment and their legal origin
- Information about your legal representation and power of attorney
- Police check from your country of origin and place of residence (if different)
